From a unique childhood in Central America to stumbling across mountain biking in college, Eric worked his way from bike shop employee to industry insider. Eventually, he grew tired of helping others build something he didn't believe in and started Deity in late 2003 with his wife Sadie. Great story and fascinating insight - will definitely be shopping deity components in the future.

This and the recent Leigh Donovan podcast have been two of the best.

Awesome Podcast. I have total admiration and respect for Eric amd Sadie. I had been looking to upgrade bars on both my mountain bikes, this podcast helped me make up my mind. I bought the TMO and the Skyline bars.

Glad I took the time to listen to this. Inspirational and Informative. I always like to know about the companies and the people behind the products. It’s cool to hear the backstory and some of the events/reasons that inspired the creation of Deity. I can say that after listening I’m am even more stoked to use Deity parts. The information about product development and product testing was impressive and displays Deity’s dedication to their riders. Thanks for sharing 🤘🏼Keep up the great work
