The strongest carbon handlebar in the world, the DEITY SPEEDWAY, gets the 50mm rise treatment!
Did you know that DEITY has been making 50mm and 80mm rise handlebars for 15 years? Yep... We have been preaching the benefits far before the industry trends kicked in. From increased control on descents, dialing in geometry set up, being in a more comfortable riding position, to catering to the needs of taller riders... Our higher rise offerings have led the charge on the market for over a decade and we are happy to see the rest of the industry get in line. As a true rider owned, operated, funded, and driven brand...our priority is creating the strongest products possible, so that you can spend more time riding and less time replacing equipment. In an industry that operates around marketing buzzwords ... we believe in honoring materials with respect and respecting our customers with honesty, so let’s pull back the curtain on carbon and a key term marketing departments love to throw around these days, "compliance". "Compliance" is a fancy industry term for flex and too much leads to a weaker carbon handlebar. This is the truth that the industry is not telling you. A carbon handlebar is made of many layers of carbon sheets that are cut into specific shapes and then bonded together via a resin. When cured, this resin serves as a critical structural component in the creation of a carbon handlebar and is rock hard, is not elastic, and it does not stretch. If you make a handlebar that flexes too much, the resin will be compromised between the pieces and sheets of bonded carbon layers. If this resin is flexed past a certain range, it deteriorates, cracks, and the only thing holding the carbon handlebar together is the sheer strength of the carbon material itself. The DEITY line of carbon handlebars are designed with strength as the founding principle and feature a range of appropriate flex that does not compromise the structural integrity of the end product. Featuring premium Mitsubishi Carbon, unidirectional layups, the stunning damping properties of carbon, and our reputation for strength, function, and attention to detail ... we are incredibly excited to get you on the new 50mm rise SPEEDWAY so you can experience the strongest carbon handlebars in the world! Join the DEITY movement and get on the SPEEDWAY 50 to help elevate your ride today! |
