Damn...Kyle Strait is incredibly fast! With an impressive 11th place finish at the latest World Cup in La Bresse France, Kyle Strait is in top shape and looking to bring the USA back up on top! You may not realize the speed pro DH racers bring to the course every week, but to stand up against the very best in the world and not only hold your own, but punish some of the biggest names in the scene...is no small task to accomplish. Speaking about spokespeople...nobody can hold a candle to Lars Tribus! With a recent trip to Chile to compete in the Pan American Championships, Lars solidified a Silver medal by missing Gold by only .2 seconds due to a flat at the bottom of the course! Representing USA as only Lars can, he made sure to get first in the MTX race before making the trip back to the East Coast. It is simply amazing to see Lars accomplish each and every goal he sets. He is determined, gifted, hard working, passionate, and has been with deity since day one! Congratulations Lars and way to represent the USA!

There are many things we are excited about...from our upcoming relocation, the onslaught of new products we have planned to drop on everyone next year, our first trail frame, and much more. But, a highlight has easily been the addition of California trailboss Brian Miller who brings his energy and love for dirt to one of the most solid pro rosters out right now. A Woodward instructor and trail builder, Brian's talent will surely become noticed as he walks into 2009 on board a slew of sponsors and a drive to showcase what has made him a critical part of the Cali dirt scene. Welcome on board Brian, things have only begun! 

With a recently compressed spine compounding a back beaten from years of skating, deity's Zach Hensley is not only used to pain, but seems to thrive on it. Already working the shovel as his method for rehab, Zach has been busy building the most amazing trail spots in the world. Currently sculpting the Felony Trails in California, Zach and his crew have become responsible for almost every quality dirt spot in the state and with our upcoming relocation looming, we may have to hire him to work a few acres of potential trails with us. The deity Grassroots Sponsorship program has been fortunate to come across riders who epitomize professionalism on and off the bike, but it is hard to hold a candle to deity Pro Developmental riders Nick Simcik and Caleb Cambern. Not only fast on a bike and skilled in the air, Nick and Caleb first caught our eye at Interbike of 2007 and sponsoring them was an easy decision for us. They are examples of the hard work and perseverance that goes into our sport. True privateers and spokespeople for biking, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have them part of our company and only have bigger plans for both of them in the near future.

Cameron Zink recently let us know that some New World bonus footage of him has leaked online and like anything Cam does, it is insane! If you plan to be hitting Ray's MTB Park this winter (which you should), make sure to test ride one of the two rediculous Superco demo builds with full deity metal! DOC and Terry at Superco recently contacted us about building their demo fleet of bikes with a full deity kit and of course, we were honored to be on board.  The two builds will be available to ride at the infamous Cleveland hotspot of Ray's MTB Park and if you are in need of buying some deity metal during your visit, there is a good chance that park owner Ray Petro will have what you need behind the shelf! As promised, the new Fantom line of stems and Alibi series of sprockets are now available and shipping to your local dealers! Available in a 31.8, 25.4 and long awaited 1.5 format, the Fantom series is redesigned from the ground up and are leaps ahead of our past stems! If you run a chainguide, make sure to check out the new Alibi Sprockets that come in two models for either 4B chainguides or for e13 LG1 and MRP G2 guides. These are incredibly lightweight sprockets that will allow to finally run a 3 piece crankset and a chainguide without any burden in weight! They are amazing!!  

With the great Amanda Palmer on her acclaimed global tour that is set to hit Portland on December 12th, we could not think of a better time to pay tribute to her first solo record, Who Killed Amanda Palmer.  We cannot speak highly enough about Amanda's new album as her raw intensity, creativity, and love for her art is evident in anything she does or touches. Whether you agree with his political point of views or not, Henry Rollins is constantly pushing everyone around him to challenge the system, question those in power, and to make your voice be heard. With his latest spoken word visit for the Recountdown Tour, the deity crew landed the best seats in the house for Henry's 3 hour narrative that covered everything from the current political climate to his experiences on the road. How we landed such amazing seats is beyond us, but anytime we get to see and hear Henry Rollins is a pleasure. If you do not know who he is, pick up a Black Flag record and get educated kiddies!
